Your eating WHAT?!?

Bonjour my lovies!
Like how I got all cultured there?  Christmas is really gearing up all around me so I decided to make my favorite holiday treat Puppy Chow.

Now some of you will know what I'm talking about while others are curling their noses in disgust while the rest of you tilt your head slightly in confusion.  No fears I'm not showing dog food.

Puppy Chow is an amazing concoction of rice chex, chocolate, peanut butter, and powdered sugar.  once finished it does resemble kibble in a way but I assure you it is delightful.  Other names you may know it by are muddy buddies or reindeer chow but it has always and will always be puppy chow.

The amazingness that is pinterest has several different versions to try; including an intriguing cake batter edition that I must try.  I found a Halloween version that included two batches one with semi sweet chips and one with white chips all mixed with reeses pieces candies.  Well as hectic as fall has been I never got around to making it, so I did red and greened it up for Christmas.

Brownie Sundae Bowls

Howdy Loves!

Sometimes we all need a simple delicious dessert.  A throw together simple and quick plate of goodness.  I have just the dessert for you!

It will require an edible bowls pan.  I was given this fabulous pan by a good friend last Christmas.  I can't wait to use the baby for all my Christmas goodies!!  The test drive did pretty well though.

1 Family size boxed brownie mix (I prefer Duncan Hines any time I use a box) and the ingredients it calls for on the back of the box.

Grease the pan well and fill it 2/3s full of batter. Follow baking directions but check it 5-10 mins early.

Once they cool you'll have the perfect sundae bowl!

Will with ice cream and your favorite toppings!!
Hot Fudge
Nuts
And a cherry on top!
Enjoy

Move over Rudolph this years its about VIXEN

Hello my loves!
I can't believe it is already December 1st!  Struggling to get into the holiday spirit I've started some recipes, Christmas movies, and holiday wrapping.  Bring it on Claus BRING IT ON!

As many of you know my signature color is red. So, when one of my friends, owner of Make Up Your Face, asked me to describe my dream polish for a blogger series naturally I was all about red.  We passed around ideas for a few days reworked the formula (ok ok Lauren reworked the formula while I was a rather picky customer).  When I finally got my new treasure in the mail I was beyond speechless.  It truly is the perfect red glitter top coat and I'm honored she made my dreams come true.
Red Dotted Vixen

Red Dotted Vixen aka My Dream Polish aka Love and Warmth in a bottle is a fabulous mix of matte and satin red glitters with an explosion of mircoglitter.
Retro Glam

I swatched it over Maybelline Color Show in "Green with Envy" and ring finger accent over Essie in "Marshmallow."  The mint green and white work perfectly with the bold red for a retro glam holiday manicure.
Essie Marshmallow

Ready to buy your own?  Well here is the link.  Want more bang for your buck?  Lacy was also asked for her dream polish.  I own it, it is like a gorgeous stained glass window in a bottle.  Swatches in a later blog BUT you can buy them in a set here.  Ok take a second to recover for all the glamorous glitter and go buy them!

Smelling like....Basil?! Palmolive Fresh Infusions

Evening Loves,
I've been a terrible blog keeper.  Tons of recipes, reviews, and makeup looks.  Not enough hours in the day it seems.  I am vowing to do better so here is my review on Palmolive Fresh Infusions.  Please note I did receive these for free from Influenster for review purposes.

I was very skeptical trying Palmolive because I've always been a Dawn girl.

When I first opened the box I was very excited to see how generously sized the bottles were. The colors and designs were very fresh and eye pleasing.

I immediately pulled the caps off to smell this intriguing trio.

Lime & Basil- By far my favorite of the three. The fresh scent is like walking through a flourishing herb garden in summer.

Lemon & Thyme- Gives much the same effect of the Lime Basil. Very clean and fresh. My second favorite.

Ginger & White Tea - I was most excited to smell this one, and also most disappointed. I didn't care for this scent at all. It was odd and lingering.  I sent this too a friend who loved the scent and so far loves the grease fighting power.

Grease lifting power was great on non stuck on foods. I found when dishes were left overnight I needed more elbow grease to clean them than I do with dawn.

I will continue using the Palmolive on same day dishes for the superior scent but will keep around Dawn for those nights we just don't get it all done.

You can find the fresh infusions for $2.96 at walmarts everywhere!! Any of you interested in trying Influenster leave me a comment and I'll send you an invite.  They gave great items and helpful reviews.

Team Lynn

Hello Lovies!!
I need to get back to bloggin!  Lots going on and working in retail my busy season has begun.  Have no fear I WILL be doing 31 days of Halloween in October which means a Halloween related makeup, craft, or recipe post every day ALL MONTH LONG!! Excited? Me too!!  Until then I have a few fun posts to delight you with.

Today I will be posting about my all time fave glitter polish Lynnderella.  Now any of you in the makeup world who follow the nail world no doubt heard all about the Lynnderella drama a few months ago.  Let me start off by teaching you a little saying my momma taught me "There is always 3 sides to every story yours, mine, and the truth."  Boy howdy was she RIGHT!  Don't tell her I said that though :)  .  That doesn't mean I think everyone is always lying it simply means different things can be viewed different ways.  Emotions are hard to convey over computers, phones, and texts so things get taken in ways they weren't meant.  So, as far as the drama goes I've read posts from both sides and going off my personal experiences with Lynn in the past I do NOT believe she did ANYTHING to slight or upset anybody.  I whole heartedly believe she is a good person who wants to help everyone out.  Who among us doesn't get defensive when attacked?  It is human nature and I will NOT condemn anyone for being human.  It is a quality I quite like in my friends.

With all of that being said I don't expect anyone to agree with me on anything.  You made your own decisions about what companies you like and support.  Just please be aware here in the attic we love and support Lynnderella and her polishes; and will continue to snatch up any of her amazing polishes we can get our tiny hands on (serious I have small hands). Phew that was a mouth full...or is it a hand full?  My wit has bested me it seems!

ONWARD TO THE POLISHES!!!

The two polishes I'd like to show you today are Ruby Red Ruby and Love, Lace, and Lilacs.

Here is Ruby Red Ruby over a Nfu Oh that I don't remember the number of.  I know I'm helpful :)
I really loved this look.  The Nfu Oh is a light/tiffany blue and the red tint from the glitter polish makes it slightly darker.  I really loved the results.

Here is Love, Lace, and Lilacs over Avon's Vintage Boutique.

Love LOVE the way this came out.

I have several more Lynns I'll be swatching for you in the future so don't forget to search Lynnderella in the blog to find them.  If you have any requests or suggestions for 31 days of Halloween posts please leave a comment!!
